and I have been playing soccer for over 25+ years. My soccer journey started when I was a kid, watching my dad coach his soccer team at the park. I started kicking a ball when I was about 9 years old and since then have developed a love and passion for the game. In my teenage years, I played in several different soccer leagues, high school, select teams, and occasional pick up games, where I was really able to hone in on my skills and develop as a soccer player.

When my son developed an interest in soccer, we started by practicing fundamental drills in the backyard. When he was old enough to join a recreational team, I decided to sign up to coach to continue in my passion for the game. For the past few years, I have coached an amazing group of boys who have developed both on and off the field. In passing, many parents and coaches have expressed interest in learning more about coaching and the game, and we quickly realized the impact we could have on the community by sharing the passion for the sport and educating other parents and coaches.

With the launch of Rudy’s Soccer Academy, I am excited to bring all my soccer skills, knowledge and coaching abilities to you in different online programs. I am honored and excited to work with individuals through my one-on-one coaching and mentorship and excited to offer educational videos on coaching and playing youth soccer.
